Our first cup of coffee will offer a stunning observation point looking over the “Mouse Island” (Pontinkonisi) while the views of the airplane landings are right above our heads.
Our next stop will be the picturesque town of Benitses and the romantic marina. From there, we’ll drive along the east coastline, get to know the famous fishing villages such as Boukari and Petriti, including their authentic taverns and traditional fish meals, and end up with a relaxing nature walk.
The second part of the day promises unique experiences. A visit to the impressive Lake Korission, nestled on the edge of the west coast, might even offer a glimpse of the majestic flamingos.
The kids can frolic in the sand dunes, while the adults can soak in the nostalgic atmosphere of the 60s-style bars along the beach and the lake, a scene that seems to transport you to another world.
